Hey guys!
I’m still trying to get the hang of blogging! I’ve never been great with words and I always walk away from conversations wondering just how awkward I sounded and how much information I overloaded people with (my husband always reminds me I give WAY to many unnecessary details.. probably just like this!).
Anyways, bear with me! If you don’t want to read my ramblings, feel free to click on the photos above and scroll on through! I promise those will be more impressive than my words!
Leo and Cara are friends of my husband and myself and I was absolutely honoured to be asked to photograph their big day! They put so much work into all the details and dealt with so many hiccups along the way! Thankfully, everything came together in the end and when it was all said and done, they had created a beautiful day for themselves!!
When Cara told me the entire day, apart from getting ready, would take place at the St. Thomas Train Station, I was giddy with excitement! Every photographer in the area knows the train station and loves shooting there! The large windows offer so much natural light, you almost never even have to pull out your flash! The absolute highlight is the blazing hot, but absolutely stunning brick and plaster walled room upstairs! The muted colours, large windows, and wooden floors all come together and end up being the perfect juxtaposition to the classic gowns and suits as well as the bountiful bouquets! Anyways, enough photographer talk!
Cara and Leo, thank you so much for asking me to be such a huge part of your day! I hope you can cherish these photos for years to come as a reminder of your day and all the love you share!
