Excitement and anticipation! Those are the words that have filled the last 9 months in my husband’s family; his sister and her husband were expecting!! This is the third grandbaby on Dwayne’s side, with a fourth due in July, and we were all so excited to have another small addition to the family! To add to the excitement, Andrew and Connie asked me to take their maternity, Fresh 48, and newborn sessions!!
This session is from a while back, and since then Andrew and Connie have had their beautiful baby boy, Clay, but I just had to post their stunning maternity images! I’ll be posting Clay’s newborn images shortly, so keep checking back on the blog because you won’t want to miss those!
Ideally, Connie had hoped to have her maternity photos in a field of sunflowers, but unfortunately March is not the time of year for that! We decided that the beach was the perfect spot to have the session; we were able to get a warm, sunny ambience to the photos, even though it was insanely cold and windy! We ended up having beautiful sunlight streaming through just a few clouds, which was perfectly mixed with the wind blowing Connie’s hair, talk about model-esque!
I am so excited that I was able to document these past few months for Andrew and Connie! It’s especially special that they are family and I get to watch Clay grow up from such a close perspective!
